Video of BA strikers at the TUC

Issue No. 2195

Around 500 British Airways cabin crew gathered at the Trades Union Congress (TUC) building in central London on Tuesday evening, to mark the end of their four-day strike.

BA cabin crew are leading a defiant fight against bullying boss Willie Walsh's plans to attack jobs, pay and conditions at the airline. They are also fighting to defend their union, Unite, and its cabin crew section, Bassa.

Strikers chanted, 'Willie, Willie, Willie – Out, Out, Out!' and sang 'I'd rather be a picket than a scab'. It's clear that workers are determined to beat Willie Walsh – Unite should name the next strike dates and get on with fighting him.
