Museum of London: Galleries of Modern London

Issue No. 2202

The Museum of London has spent three years and £20 million on five new galleries that tell the history of Britain’s capital.

From 1666 to today, an impressive 7,000 objects, interactive displays, films and artefacts tell Londoners’ stories.

The galleries show how ordinary people in London have shaped the city.

The museum is celebrating the opening of its new galleries with a series of special events.
