Keep the Fife rail concessions

Issue No. 2202

Campaigners are planning to protest at Fife council’s first major cut on Sunday of next week.

The council is ending the current rail concessions for disabled and older people who are able to travel to Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh for 50p per journey.

The proposed new scheme will limit travel under the 50p fare to within Fife.

The Campaign Against Charges and Cuts and the Right to Work campaign will be protesting on the final day of the scheme – Sunday 23 May – at Inverkeithing station from 2pm.
