Mid Yorks NHS Trust workers vote to resist attacks

Unison union stewards at the Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust last week voted unanimously to resist managment’s attacks.

Trust bosses want to make up to 287 workers redundant, cut the pay of a further 90, attack terms and conditions, and arrange the “election” of non-union reps.

The trust covers three hospitals in Ponterfract, Wakefield and Dewsbury.
