Film: Undertow

Issue No. 2214

This is a beautiful evocation of Peru. Two men, Miguel and Santiago, are having a secret affair in a small fishing village.

It seems that Undertow is going to be an examination of sexual repression, but then a terrible accident occurs and it becomes a ghost story. This is a moving and poignant film.

Directed by Javier Fuentes-Leon
