The Tory-Liberal coalition has gained another Labour collaborator—former health secretary Alan Milburn.
Fresh from making as much money as he could out of “advising” private healthcare firms on how to buy up the NHS, he is now to become the Tories’ “social mobility tsar”.
Once touted as a Blairite leadership contender, Milburn resigned from frontline politics to spend more time with his cash. He joins a growing list of Labour turncoats, including John Hutton and Frank Field.
Why haven’t these nasty little Tory-lovers been chucked out of the Labour Party?
