Join the national protest against racism

Issue No. 2218

Saturday 6 November is a key date for every activist as it will see the most broadly-based demonstration against racism, Islamophobia and the Nazis for many years.

Called by Unite Against Fascism, the Muslim Council of Britain and Love Music Hate Racism, the protest in central London has also importantly won the backing of the Trades Union Congress.

As the economic crisis sharpens, and the Tories try to ram through the cuts, the most rotten elements in society will try to blame immigrants, Muslims and all black and Asian people for the problems in society.

This is happening now in many parts of Europe.

As well as specific action against the English Defence League and the British National Party we need a united mobilisation as a barrier against the spread of racism.
