Walking with Tears - Tracey Emin

Issue No. 2219

Say the name Tracey Emin and many people will immediately think of her bold pieces “My Bed”—the most visited exhibition in the history of the Tate—and “Everyone I Ever Slept With”.

But Emin has always engaged with traditional crafts. And now for the first time we get to see her monoprints stretching back to 1994.

Emin says there is no distinction between these and her bolder conceptual works rather: “What’s flashy is the attention given to it.”
