Workers at Grimshaw Lane cleansing and ground maintenance in Manchester have won a victory against their bosses over monitoring.

Bosses want to impose a biometric hand monitoring system on them without proper consultation and with the threat of disciplinary action hanging over those who resist.

But opposition has forced them to postpone it. This is a morale booster for bigger battles to come.
