Defend Lewisham libraries

Issue No. 2221

Around 100 people joined a protest in Lewisham, south London, on Friday of last week against plans to close libraries in Lewisham.

Five libraries—Blackheath Village, Sydenham, Grove Park, New Cross and Crofton Park—are under threat.

The council is holding several public meetings about the plans in October.
