African Revolution

Veteran musician Tiken Jah Fakoly merges the sounds of Africa with funky reggae from Jamaica.

The music is highly political and draws on some of the best traditions of radical reggae to put across a message of hope, freedom and justice.

The artist aims to be “a voice of the voiceless” and the front cover shows him with his fist punching the air. This mood is genuine, and has produced a passionate and foot-stomping album.
