Cameroonian journalist Charles Atangana’s case against deportation was adjourned for three months on Thursday of last week.

The National Union of Journalists held a lively protest to greet and support Charles outside the Royal Courts of Justice in central London.

Michelle Stanistreet, NUJ deputy general secretary, told Socialist Worker, “Charles has a good case and a lot of support.

“Unfortunately many people with strong cases are still being deported. We need to keep campaigning for Charles.”
