Deportations to Zimbabwe resumed

The government is planning to resume forced deportations of “failed asylum seekers” to Zimbabwe.

Removal of Zimbabweans has not been enforced for many years, as the government did not dare to risk them being tortured or killed.

Robert Mugabe frequently claims that returned asylum seekers are British spies.

Now the Tory coalition has pre-empted a test case to claim that deportations should be re-started.

The closure of the Refugee and Migrant Justice charity earlier this year has hit hard.
