Tyneside Safety Glass

Issue No. 2224

The Unite union will ballot workers at Tyneside Safety Glass on a new pay offer.

The workers were set to begin a two-week strike on Monday of this week over pay.

The action was called off after the new offer was made.

Workers have suffered two years of pay freezes plus changes to shifts that have added ten hours to the working week for some.

They struck for one week last month.
