Disabled People Against Cuts launched

Disabled activists and their allies have launched Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC) to fight the Tories’ austerity plans. It was formed after the protest at the Tory conference in Birmingham—which was led by disabled people.

Disabled people should not be the scapegoats for the financial mistakes of governments. We will not tolerate the further erosion of our living conditions, nor will we sit quietly while they try to take our rights away.

DPAC is for everyone who is against government austerity measures, which target the poor while leaving the wealthy unscathed.
