Teachers, students and parents are to march through Swansea this Saturday against the closure of Daniel James Community School.
If closed, pupils will have to travel to the other side of Swansea and campaigners say it will rip the heart out of the local community.
The unions are backing the campaign which has weekly planning meetings and town centre stalls.
It has already held a walk to show how far the pupils would have to travel to the nearest school.
The march, assembles at 12 noon at The Guildhall, and will also highlight other education cuts in Swansea.
