Control orders: same old story

The government is set to “replace” control orders this week—a form of detention without trial that restrict people’s freedom and include house arrest or curfews.

The Liberal Democrats are yet again breaking a manifesto pledge, as the government is planning to bring in another method of detainment without trial.

Labour brought in control orders and is opposing the changes from the right.
