Stop Mirfat Badallah being deported

Issue No. 2236

Mirfat Badallah’s campaign to stop her deportation to Yemen is growing. Last week she sent 28 letters of support to the Home Office. She urgently needs more solidarity.

Branches of the teaching unions NUT and NASUWT have already offered support and messages have been sent from her children’s school, Shabana Mahmood MP and Brian Travers from the band UB40.

The Home Office has told Mirfat that she must go to Yemen in order to apply to stay with her family in Britain.

The British embassy in Yemen is closed to the public and its website recommends people make applications in other countries.
