Celebrating Reggae Britannia

This 90-minute documentary celebrates the impact of reggae on British music and culture from the 1960s through to the 1980s.

It meets the Jamaican performers who brought their music to Britain and shows how a new style of reggae developed here.

Home-grown bands such as Aswad and Steel Pulse offered sounds and lyrics that spoke to their British audience.

With contributions from Jerry Dammers, Neville Staple, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Janet Kay, Carroll Thompson, Dennis Bovell, Don Letts, Paul Weller, Aswad, Steel Pulse and Matumbi.
