BT workers’ fight stops job losses

Issue No. 2238

Workers at British Telecom’s (BT) Barrow-in-Furness call centre have stopped job cuts.

The workers, in the CWU union, were told that 52 jobs would be cut last August.

After a lot of campaigning, they have saved the jobs and showed that fighting works.
