Where have NHS workers gone?

Issue No. 2239

A number of migrant worker support groups have called a demonstration against the arrest and deportation of a group of workers at St Thomas hospital.

A UK Border Agency raid saw 72 ancillary workers, who carry out crucial tasks for low wages, at the London hospital “disappeared” last month.

The protest will take place on Friday of this week. People are demanding to know what has happened to the staff.

Protest Friday 18 February, 5pm at St Thomas hospital, main entrance, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7EH
