Lorry drivers strike in Felixstowe

Issue No. 2240

Lorry drivers at Bawdsey Haulage in Felixstowe struck on Monday of this week demanding union recognition.

Pickets were heartened by supporters who brought them free coffee and bacon sandwiches.

If their employer doesn’t move, the Unite union plans a five-day stoppage towards the end of March.
