Lecturers are voting to elect representatives to national officer positions in the UCU and to the union’s national executive committee (NEC) and Scottish executive committee (SEC).
Voting ends on Friday of this week. Several candidates backed by the UCU Left group are standing.
UCU Left candidates are committed to fighting the Tory assault on education and the creeping marketisation of
colleges and universities.
UCU Left members have been key to building yes votes in the current strike ballots.
