A broad coalition of disability groups and campaigners has called a demonstration against cuts.

The Hardest Hit March will take place in London on Wednesday 11 May.

It is backed by the TUC and dozens of charities, from Citizens Advice to Scope, Macmillan Cancer Support and even the Guide Dogs charity.

The march has the potential to attract thousands.

It is being organised jointly by the Disability Benefits Consortium and the UK Disabled People’s Council.
