Around 120 people in Lewisham, south London, demonstrated last week against £500,000 of cuts to child and adolescent mental health services.
Local Unite and Unison branches called the protest which filled the pavement outside the Kaleidoscope Children’s Centre for two hours.
Protesters leafletted and petitioned the public and listened to speeches. GPs spoke of how they deplored the impact of the cuts. They support some of the most vulnerable people in the area.
