Lecturers at Sheffield College struck on Wednesday of last week in protest at bosses’ plans to cut jobs.
Around 120 jobs are at risk. Some 96 jobs already went last year.
UCU union members voted by 84 percent for strikes against the latest round of cuts.
UCU regional officer Julie Kelley said that last week’s strike “could well be the start of a series”.
She added, “Management is making redundant the very people whose job it is to teach students and help vulnerable learners.
“The college’s plans are extremely short-sighted and will have a devastating effect on teaching and the local area.”
