New threat to abortion rights

Anti-choice MPs have launched a fresh attack on abortion rights.

They have put amendments to the government’s Health and Social Care Bill that would put more obstacles in the way of women seeking abortion.

These include forcing women considering abortion to undergo compulsory counselling.

The Abortion Rights group is urging pro-choice activists to urgently contact their MPs to pressure them to vote against the amendments.
