Socialist Worker

How thousands are organising

Issue No. 2253

Mass assemblies take place in the camps every evening. They involve everyone present.

These split into working groups, or commissions, based around issues like food, security, demands and so on.

These split into smaller organising groups. They make decisions and a rotating spokesperson feeds the ideas back.

If consensus isn’t reached, there is a mass vote.

People use megaphones so that everyone can hear.
