Demand justice for Demetre

Issue No. 2263

Family and friends of Demetre Fraser, a 21 year old who died in police custody in May, have called a demonstration for next Saturday calling for police to be held to account.

Demetre, known as T Dot, died after a visit from West Midlands Police while he was staying in Birmingham.

Police claim he killed himself by jumping from the 11th floor of a housing block. But neighbours claim to have witnessed a violent struggle.

Demetre’s mother Josette Fraser said, “Please help me secure justice not just for Demetre, but for all that have died and those yet to come.”

Assemble Saturday 13 August, 12noon, Gibbon Road, London SE15
