The Nazi British National Party (BNP) booted out its London regional secretary Chris Hurst last week after pictures emerged of him making “sieg heil” salutes.
Hurst made the Nazi gestures at a fascist event in Hungary.
The singer Saga was the leading act at the event. Norway killer Breivik quoted her lyrics in his manifesto.
The event took place just after Breivik’s murderous rampage.
And on sale were fascist badges with white power slogans, T-shirts with Hitler’s picture and his book, Mein Kampf.
And although the BNP has kicked out Hurst, spokesperson Simon Darby defended him, saying “he has been silly”.
Darby said Hurst had “put the party into an embarrassing position”—by not keeping his Nazi behaviour secret.
Hurst had been told to never give the Nazi salute in public. But it seems he couldn’t help himself.
