London Underground bosses should come clean

Issue No. 2266

Clara Osagiede, a union rep for cleaners on London Underground, is continuing her fight against victimisation.

The Initial firm suspended Clara, who is part of the RMT transport union, in March after an incident with a manager over a health and safety issue.

The firm then informed Clara and her legal representative that they would drop the charges, and that she could either have her job back or a pay-off.

Clara said she wanted her job back. Initial later said that there were more grievances against her that would have to be pursued.

Clara will challenge this in upcoming hearings.
