Supporters of Dale Farm have set up Camp Constant to help defend the site.

Beverley is one of them. “It would be a real tragedy if the eviction goes ahead,” she told Socialist Worker.

“We really need supporters to come here. If we want a society where people care about others, especially children and vulnerable people, we need to stop the eviction.”

Travellers and their supporters have called a demonstration for this Saturday, 10 September, against the eviction.

They are also urging people to come and spend time at Camp Constant to show support for Dale Farm.

Supporters who are able to stay to defend the site should aim to arrive as early as possible before 19 September.
