Pay strike at Bifrangi

Issue No. 2268

Workers at the Bifrangi automotive factory in Sheffield walked out on Monday for their fourth one-day strike over pay.

The 140 Unite union members put in a claim last November for a 2.5 percent increase this year and an RPI inflation rate rise next year.

They have rejected an offer of 1 percent, plus performance strings.
