Licensing workers vote for black out

Issue No. 2271

A nationwide strike of television licensing workers moved a step nearer last week after they voted for strikes in a dispute over pay.

The CWU union members voted by 77 percent in favour of action unless Capita TVL bosses increase their pay offer.

TV licensing workers are based at two main sites at Darwen, in Lancashire, and Bristol.
