Workers at Middlesex university have voted overwhelmingly for strikes to save jobs. Lecturers voted by 80 percent for strikes and 94 percent for action short of a strike in a recent ballot.
The workers, members of the UCU union, say that cost-cutting at the university puts 300 jobs at risk.
Workers in the Unison union at the university have also voted 81 percent to strike and 93 percent for action short of a strike.
