Anger as Quarriers strikes are called off

Issue No. 2272

A strike by workers at Quarriers care home in Glasgow planned for last weekend was called off after a new offer from management.

But many workers, who are in the Unison union, are angry at the offer, and wanted to go ahead with the strike.

The offer would mean that those due to have pay cuts of 19 percent or more would instead have 17 percent slashed from their pay.

This insulting offer should be voted down.
