Jarrow march hits Nottingham

by Richard Buckwell
Issue No. 2274

Nottingham was a town filled with fightbacks last Saturday.

The Youth Fight for Jobs march arrived on its way from Jarrow to London.

It was met by a local anti-cuts protest, swelling the march to over 200 and holding a rally.

Then there was an occupation of the market, with many staying overnight and vowing to continue for as long as possible.

And Notts Uncut went on its regular round of occupying tax dodging stores—before joining the market occupation.
