Coltan is a so-called “conflict mineral”, and stands accused of financing horrific conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This documentary investigates the warlords and rogue army units who control the coltan mines.

Multinational phone producers turn a blind eye to the rape, torture and murder financed by their thirst for profits.

Danish director Frank Poulsen especially takes on his own phone’s manufacturer, Nokia, demanding to know their relationship to the bloody industry.

They are less than willing to cooperate. So just what are they hiding?
