Anti-fascism round-up

Issue No. 2276

The British National Party tried to hold its annual conference in secret in Wavertree, Liverpool.

Unite Against Fascism (UAF) activists learned the location and the Nazi delegates were confronted by protests from angry local residents, councillors and football fans. Anti-fascists demonstrated on both Saturday and Sunday.

Around 30 fascists attacked the Occupy Newcastle camp in the city’s centre last Sunday at around 4am. They kicked, punched and threw bricks at protesters.

The EDL, the National Front and the “Infidels” had all been in the city during the day attempting to harass and threaten protesters.
