National protest over housing emergency

Issue No. 2277

A national protest at parliament will challenge government attacks on tenants and demand action to build homes.

This will be followed by a lobby of MPs before the final vote on the Localism Bill next month. The bill would introduce fixed-term “flexible” tenancies, give councils powers to end homeless people’s access to council housing and remove thousands from housing waiting lists.

Housing Emergency protest at parliament, Tuesday 15 November

Assemble 4pm, Old Palace Yard, London SW1P 3JY

Lobby at 5pm, Committee Room 15, House of Commons
