Langdon School in Newham set for strikes

Issue No. 2279

Nut union members at Langdon School in Newham, east London, were set to strike on Thursday of this week.

They plan to strike on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week until the end of term.

The workers have struck three times already.

They are fighting over excessive workload and oppressive management.

The union was engaged in talks at the conciliation service Acas as Socialist Worker went to press.
