Socialist Worker

Socialist Worker Appeal

Issue No. 1868

WE ARE launching an appeal to raise £150,000. In the first week we raised £12,692. We want to keep improving Socialist Worker and to get more of your stories and reports. Unlike other newspapers, we are not funded by rich backers or by advertising. The Mirror Group made £194.2 million from advertising in the last year, which made up 39 percent of its revenue.

Your money will help us to ensure that there is an anti-capitalist, anti-war paper that is written, read and sold by people who want to change the world.

Send cheques or postal orders to SW Appeal, PO Box 82, London E3 3LH.

Phone credit/debit card donations through to - 020 7538 2707.

Please make cheques payable to SW Appeal.

'Socialist Worker has been a beacon of light right through the campaign against the war in Iraq and should be recognised for the role it played.'

BOB CROW, general secretary of the RMT union

'Reading Socialist Worker doesn't just keep you informed, it makes you part of the movement that's changing the world.'

CHINA MIÉVILLE, novelist and campaigner

If you enjoy Socialist Worker, please consider giving to our annual appeal to make sure we can maintain and develop our online and print versions of Socialist Worker. Go here for details and to donate.
