Unilever’s miserly management has decided to punish workers for taking part in the strike.
They cancelled the £15 hampers and vouchers usually sent to current and retired staff every Christmas—and called off the Christmas party.
But it could still be a very festive season for chief executive Paul Polman.
He received shares from the company worth over £1 million this year.
This comes on top of a £900,000 salary, as much again in “100 percent salary uplift” bonuses, and contributions to his pension worth £350,000.
