Post workers in unofficial walkout

Issue No. 2283

Postal workers on Merseyside walked out on unofficial strike last weekend.

Some 45 workers at Crosby delivery office, in Waterloo, staged the unofficial industrial action on Saturday morning.

The strike was sparked by a dispute between a manager and a worker who is facing disciplinary action.

The workers at the office walked out in support of their colleague.
