Street cleaners in Cheshire were set to walk out for two hours on Thursday of this week in a battle over shifts.
The 100 Unison, Unite and GMB union members at Cheshire West and Chester council have carried out an overtime ban since 27 December.
They are fighting bosses who have forced them onto a “seven-day rota”. They will lose all extra payments for weekend working and even bank holidays.
The new shifts also mean bosses will decide when workers are allowed to take their annual leave.
