Gallery workers stand up to cuts

Issue No. 2289

National Gallery workers walked out for a third time on Thursday of last week over job cuts. The two-hour stoppage was followed by another last Saturday.

The gallery wardens, in the PCS union, held a protest outside the gallery in Trafalgar Square on the Thursday. They were joined by trade unionists from other branches.

Workers are discussing the next steps in their campaign.
