Occupying despite snow and threats

Issue No. 2289

Despite a covering of snow and icy winds, over 100 Occupy protesters continue to camp out every night at St Paul’s cathedral.

They are currently waiting to hear whether their application to appeal against a High Court decision to evict the camp is successful.

A decision is expected on Monday. Supporters plan to gather outside the High Court.

Meanwhile, the political debates continue at St Paul’s. Last weekend saw a meeting with George Monbiot and Suzanne Jeffery from the Campaign Against Climate Change.
