Oil tanker drivers have suspended their strike at three oil terminals pending talks.
They are members of the Unite union employed by logistics company Wincanton on a contract for Conoco Philips, which supplies Jet petrol forecourts.
The drivers face attacks on their terms and conditions as part of a cost-cutting drive in the industry.
They had planned to follow their second week of action with a third, but decided not to go ahead after the offer of talks.
The strike had received solid support, with every single worker at the site in Kingsbury, Warwickshire, reported to be on picket duty.
