Train bosses still get payouts

Train bosses were forced into a climbdown last week when it was revealed they were poised to get six-figure bonus payments.

Network Rail boss Sir David Higgins “waived” a £340,000 bonus—but he already gets £560,000 basic salary.

And it has now been revealed that Higgins and his five co-directors are in line to get 500 percent of their pay in “performance-related incentives” over the next five years.
