Action called off at Reuters

Journalists at Thompson Reuters news agency have called off their strike following a new deal.

The workers, members of the NUJ union, have accepted a 2.5 percent pay offer. An extra 0.5 percent will be on offer to some which will be based on “merit”.

The journalists had been due to strike on Thursday and Friday of last week.
